Earthquakes
The Pacific Northwest is a seismically active zone, with fault lines running under our feet and through our mountains. We're told by scientists that a big earthquake could hit at any time, without warning. Being prepared for an earthquake means taking precautions before, during and after the big event. Intense ground shaking can generate many sources of potential harm or loss, including power loss, flooding, tsunamis and structural damage.
